This is an appeal from a conviction for rape. The defendant was indicted under the general recidivist statute, Code Ann. § 27-2511 (Ga. L. 1974, pp. 352, 355) for the offenses of rape and burglary. The jury found the defendant not guilty as to the burglary charge.
