ROVIRA, Justice.

This is an appeal by Edmon and Melody Wheeler (Wheelers) from a judgment of the district court foreclosing a mechanic’s lien in favor of Federal Lumber Company (Federal Lumber). The case was transferred to this court from the Colorado Court of Appeals because of the constitutional issue raised by the appellants.
