This is an appeal by the natural mother from a finding of unfitness and severance of her parental rights.

Tony and Deana Zappa were born March 25, 1968, and April 13, 1969, respectively, in Wood River, Illinois, to Beverly and Anthony V. Zappa, Sr. In late 1972, Tony was diagnosed by the St. Louis Children’s Hospital as hyperkinetic and two years slow in development.
