The defendants, Rexford Pierce and Sandra Van Buren, appeal from their convictions of gross sexual misconduct, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 253(2)(B) (Supp.1980),

a Class C crime. Van Burén, the mother of the pros-ecutrix, was convicted as an accomplice under 17 — A M.R.S.A. § 57(3)(A) (Supp.1980).
