MEMORANDUM

The two cases before the Court present a common question of law. In each of their schedules, the husband-debtor elected to claim his exemptions under Iowa law and claim the entire homestead as exempt. The wife-debtor in each petition elected to choose the Federal exemptions prescribed in 11 U.S.C. § 522(d).
