This is an appeal from a conviction for the offense of injury to a child; the punishment is imprisonment for ten years.

It was alleged that the appellant intentionally and knowingly caused disfigurement and deformity to his stepson who was under the age of fifteen years. V.T.C.A. Penal Code, Section 22.04.
