SIMON, Judge.

Defendant, Bank Building & Equipment Corporation of America (Bank Building), appeals from a summary judgment on a note in favor of plaintiff, Carl L. Shipley. In granting the motion for summary judgment the court awarded plaintiff the face value of the note, $31,000, plus interest of 6% per annum from September 24, 1964.
