. In 1970 the petitioner, Ronald Burbank, was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to an indeterminate term of 100 to 150 years’ imprisonment ■ following a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County. He was convicted of participating in an aborted armed robbery in which his partner had shot and killed the victim.
