This appeal arises from claims by both C. K. Liew and the Official Receiver and Liquidator (Hong Kong) (hereinafter the “Receiver”) to a fund created by the settlement of claims both parties asserted against Central Banking System, Inc. (“CBSI”) and Michael Rafton, its chairman.
