Appellant Deanna Budahl commenced an action to recover damages for personal injuries allegedly suffered after falling on ice on the sidewalk in front of a place of business owned by appellee in the city of Brook-*854ings.1 Appellant Loren Budahl, Deanna’s husband, brought an action for loss of consortium in connection with his wife’s personal injury action.
