LARSON, Justice.

Defendant Brown was charged with involuntary manslaughter under Iowa Code section 707.5(1) which provides punishment for one who “unintentionally causes the death of another person by the commission of a public offense ...,” in this case OM-VUI. The focus of this appeal is Brown’s blood-alcohol test which supports the OM-VUI charge.
