FACTS

The debtors filed on May 23, 1983 for relief under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code (Code). In their petition, the debtors each claimed an exemption of $7,500.00 in value of real property that the debtors use as a residence, as provided for in Code section 522(d)(1).
