This appeal arises from an action brought by a former Wisconsin fire fighter who claims he was discharged in violation of his due process rights. The appeal presents several issues involving the application of the due process clause and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 to public employees. The district court granted summary judgment in favor of all defendants.
