OPINION

LANSING, Judge.

This is an appeal from the dismissal of a medical malpractice action as barred by the statute of limitations. We affirm.

FACTS

Appellant Timothy Giles injured his back in a stock-car racing accident on April 24, 1982. He was taken by ambulance to the emergency room at Sanford Memorial Hospital, where Dr. Milan Schmidt recommended continued hospitalization.
