Defendant-appellant, Rodney Byrd, was convicted of aggravated robbery with a gun specification and three specifications of prior offenses.

John Trice testified that he was robbed in the early morning hours of June 4, 1984. Trice had gone to visit a friend, Jacqueline Austin, at her East 82 Street home. They went to a bar along with a female tenant of Austin.
