This postconviction appeal requires us to determine whether the Governor’s issuance of an extradition warrant for petitioner Charles Lester Cole during the course of Cole’s Iowa criminal proceeding stripped the district court of jurisdiction and rendered petitioner’s subsequent conviction and imprisonment in this state illegal.
