EDELSTEIN, District Judge:

This is a medical malpractice action brought against Northern Dutchess Hospital (“Northern Dutchess”) and William H. Jameison, M.D. (“Jameison”). On March 11, 1985, plaintiff moved to strike the affirmative defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction and statute of limitations from defendants’ answers.
