Per Curiam.

Defendant City of Detroit appeals as of right from the Wayne County Circuit Court jury verdict of $1.2 million awarded in plaintiff’s favor in this wrongful death action. The trial court denied defendant city’s motion for new trial or

remittitur.

We affirm.

Sandra Mitchell died from injuries sustained as a passenger in a vehicle driven by Juanita Carrizalez.
