The defendant police officer George H. Vest has moved to suppress a tape record

ing made by co-defendant Jesse James Waters.

The tape recording at issue allegedly documents a meeting between Vest and Waters at which Waters delivered to Vest $35,000 to be paid to another police officer, Frank Tarantino.
