MURNAGHAN, Circuit Judge:

Albert L. Wilson appeals from dismissal of his petition for

habeas corpus

under 28 U.S.C. § 2254. In his petition, Wilson challenged the admission in his state criminal trial of a statement elicited by the police from him after he had requested a lawyer at an arraignment proceeding.
