MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

KANE, District Judge.

Dow has filed a motion to consolidate and sever for trial the issue of whether Sarabond is a defective product. Specifically, Dow seeks an order: (1) first transferring all of the cases in this multidistrict litigation to this court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a); then (2) consolidating all of the MDL cases under Fed.R.Civ.P.
