Alvin Hammonds appeals the district court’s

order denying his application for disability insurance benefits. We affirm.

I.

Hammonds filed an application for benefits on January 11,1985, alleging disability since April 1, 1976, due to a stroke and high blood pressure. His application was denied initially and upon reconsideration.
