DORSEY, District Judge.

Plaintiff, a Commissioned Warrant Officer in the United States Army Reserve and the Connecticut National Guard, seeks a writ of mandamus, 28 U.S.C. § 1361, to compel the United States, the State of Connecticut, and various federal and state officials, to maintain him in his current officer status until age sixty-two.
