Richard E. Sehermerhorn appeals his conviction, following a jury trial, of income tax evasion, 26 U.S.C. § 7201, obstruction of justice, 18 U.S.C. § 1503, and submitting a false statement to a bank, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1014 and 2. The jury found Schermer-horn not guilty of mail fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 1341, and bank fraud, 18 U.S.C. § 1344.
