Plaintiff Richard Skagen brought this action against Sears, Roebuck and Company (“Sears”), his former employer of twenty-nine years, for wrongful discharge in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, 29 U.S.C. § 621

et seq.

(“ADEA”).
