Plaintiff-appellant Michael Gilday ("Gilday") appeals from the granting of the motion for summary judgment of defendantappellee Turner Construction Company ("Turner"). For the reasons adduced below, we affirm the trial court's decision.

*268The record reveals that Turner was the general contractor involved in the renovation of the Halle Building in downtown Cleveland.
