The plaintiff originally commenced this action in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, seeking benefits from her deceased husband’s Federal Employee’s Group Life Insurance (“FEGLI”) policy. The action was subsequently removed by defendant, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, (“Metropolitan”) to this court.
