This case comes to us on remand from the Supreme Court.—U.S. -, 110 S.Ct. 1313, 108 L.Ed.2d 489 (1990). It was brought by Ralph Fields, a dismissed community college dean, against several college and local officials whom Fields alleges discharged him without due process.
