The defendant, Raymond Eugene Brown, was found guilty of the murder of two persons pursuant to one scheme or course of conduct, an offense made capital by Ala. Code 1975, §13A-5-40(a)(10); murder while the defendant was under a sentence of life imprisonment, made capital by §13A-5-40(a)(6); and murder during sexual abuse in the first or second degree, made capital by § 13A-5-40(a)(8).
