The La Plata County Hospital District (the District) was formed in 1959 pursuant to § 32-1-101, et seq., C.R.S., and a hospital was constructed. In the late 1970’s, the District decided to construct a medical office building in an effort to encourage more doctors to use the hospital by providing attractive office space in close proximity.
