Plaintiff Bruce L. Johnson owns a resort in Ontario, Canada, known as Duck Bay Lodge. Defendants Edward and Beatrice Mitchell own a nearby resort in Ontario known as Sabaskong Bay Lodge. Johnson is a resident of Iowa. The Mitchells are residents of Minnesota.
