In this consolidated appeal, we review a direct appeal and an appeal from dismissal of a 29.15 motion, after defendant was found guilty by a jury and sentenced for stealing under § 570.030 RSMo 1986 and burglary second degree, § 569.170 RSMo 1986. The direct appeal is dismissed as barred by the escape rule.
