This case presents several issues pertaining to defendant’s conviction for illegally discharging pollutants into wetlands in violation of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. § 1251

et seq.

Defendant appeals his conviction, and both defendant and the United States appeal the district court’s application of the Sentencing Guidelines.
