Appellee/cross-appellant Donald Hatfield was convicted of three counts of sexual *125conduct with a person under the age of 15. Based on the holding in State v. Bartlett, 164 Ariz. 229, 792 P.2d 692 (1990) (Bartlett I), the trial court determined that application of the mandatory sentencing provisions of A.R.S. § 13-604.
