Claimant in his complaint seeks the sum of $2,245 from the State for breach of contract. Claimant alleges that he entered into a contract with the Department of Conservation for the rental of a boat slip at North Point Marina for the 1989 boating season. Respondent was unable to furnish the slip at the time agreed upon due to what the State has claimed to be an act of God.
