EDMONDS, J.

Plaintiff1 appeals from a judgment dismissing his complaint with prejudice. He assigns error to the court’s appointment of a special conservator in this proceeding. ORS 126.227. We affirm.

In February, 1988, plaintiff filed a pro se complaint commencing this proceeding in the Lincoln County Circuit Court.
