GIERKE, Judge:

A general court-martial composed of officer members convicted appellant of unpremeditated murder, in violation of Article 118, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 918. His approved sentence provides for a dishonorable discharge, confinement for life, total forfeitures, and reduction to E-l.
