Plaintiff Mattie Staples originally filed this lawsuit in state court charging defendants The Money Tree, Inc., First Colonial Insurance Company, American Heritage Insurance Company, and Interstate Motor Club with fraud in the sale of insurance in connection with a loan secured by an automobile.
