MIRABAL, Justice.

The Yeagers appeal a summary judgment rendered in favor of appellees, Drillers, Inc., Union Pacific Resources Company, and Union Pacific Corporation. The Yeagers sued appellees for negligence after William Yeager injured his back in 1991 while working on an oil rig. The question on appeal is whether any of the appellees owed Yeager a duty of care.
