Plaintiff Hertha Counterman, on behalf of her minor daughter Tammy Counterman, commenced this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §§ 405 and 1383(c)(3), to review the final determination of the Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner”) denying her application for Supplemental Security Income (“SSI”) disability benefits.
