The plaintiff, George Gangwere, appeals from the circuit court’s order dismissing the plaintiffs petition and quashing service on the defendant, Robert Bisehoff.

In the fall of 1989, the defendant, a Texas resident, telephoned the plaintiff to solicit the plaintiffs investment in Sunaco Energy.
