Sarah McConahy, a formerly homeless youth, and John Hoff, an advocate for Seattle’s homeless, were cited under the "Seattle sitting ordinance,” SMC 15.48.040, for sitting on the sidewalk in the University District. They challenge the ordinance on several state constitutional grounds.
