HOLLAND, Justice:

The respondent-appellant, Megan Sharon Fisher (“Mother”), and petitioner-appellee, Gary R. Fisher (“Father”) were married on June 6, 1987.

During the marriage, two sons were born: one on May 3, 1988 and the other on November 15, 1989. This is an appeal from a final judgment of the Family Court awarding sole permanent custody of the two minor children to the Father.
