EFFRON, Judge:

In a contested general court-martial, officer and enlisted members convicted Sergeant (Sgt) Thompson of two specifications of assault with a dangerous weapon, see Art. 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 928. They sentenced him to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement and forfeiture of $814.
