The defendant, Thaddeus Tyler (Tyler), was charged by bill of information along with the co-defendant, Sirmitria Payne (Payne), for Distribution of Cocaine in violation of La.R.S. 40:967 A. After Tyler was found guilty as charged by a jury, he was sentenced as a third time felony offender.
