The defendant, Hector Perez Burgos, was convicted by a Fulton County jury of theft by taking (auto) and DUI and was acquitted of two counts of kidnapping. The defendant was sentenced on the theft by taking to ten years to serve and on the DUI to twelve months to serve consecutive to the ten years with a $1,000 fine.
