On August 8, 1993, Linda Faye Wise was driving west on Highway 70. Cathleen Wright, operating an uninsured vehicle owned by Keith Crump, collided with Wise’s vehicle. Wise brought suit against Wright and Crump to recover for injuries she sustained in the collision. On April 18, 1996, Wise obtained a judgment against Wright for $250,000.
