*932This is a habeas corpus proceeding brought by the petitioner pro se and commenced via order to show cause.

Petitioner is a prisoner at Sing Sing Correctional Facility. On August 11, 1983 he was convicted in Supreme Court, Kings County of robbery in the first degree and sentenced to an indeterminate term of imprisonment of 8 to 16 years.
