OPINION

DAUGHTREY, Circuit Judge.

At the conclusion of a bench trial, the district court, sitting in diversity, ruled that injuries suffered by the plaintiff, Dr. Randall Pedigo, were not accidental and, therefore, were not compensable under Pedigo’s disability insurance policies.
