This claim is before the Court by reason of the death of William Edward Bonnar, Sr., a battalion chief with the Or-land Fire Protection District. Battalion Chief Bonnar s wife seeks compensation pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Law Enforcement Officers, Firemen, etc. Compensation Act. 820 ILCS 315/1 et seq.
